HTC Desire 326G Dual Sim to be available, end of May

MUMBAI: Taiwanese manufacturer of smartphones and tablets HTC Corporation, launched a new entry-level smartphone, named Desire 326G Dual Sim, in the Indian market on Wednesday 15 April.

HTC Desire 326G Dual Sim features a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor. The device runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with HTC Sense UI on top. The rear camera of Desire 326G Dual Sim is 8MP, while the front camera is 2MP. The HTC smartphone also includes connectivity options like 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0.

The smartphone boasts 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card, and has a 2,000mAh battery.

HTC, South Asia and India, president, Faisal Siddiqui said in a statement, “The Desire 326G Dual Sim is a great phone for everyday, we have created a classy and stylishly design smartphone with great features. HTC Desire 326G Dual Sim is made of strong polycarbonate material, and is designed to fit just nice in your hands. It is also comfortable to hold and featured packed at an incredible value, a phone for everyone.”

HTC did not reveal the price of the smartphone but announced that the smartphone will be available with all major retailers from the second half of May.
