FiiO X3 Second Generation portable music player arrives in India

MUMBAI:  FiiO's X3, which is at the heart of its selection of high resolution digital music players has launched its 2nd generation of the product, with upgraded circuitry and exterior design. With an all metal chassis, the X3 sports a new digital audio architecture, JZ4760B+SA2000+CS4398, natively supporting DSD, decoding SACD ISOs directly, and also supporting most lossless formats like WAV, FLAC, APE, WMA, ALAC, AIFF, etc.

It has dual crystal oscillators, dedicated to multiples of 44.1 and 48kHz, respectively. With Cirrus Logic's CS4398 DAC and a well tuned low bass filter, the X3 has extremely low noise and phase distortion. Tantalum capacitors in the analogue circuit give minimum internal resistance and the result is an output of the best uncolored sound.

A 10 band equaliser and an option for user-defined playlists allow listeners to customise music to their tastes. A complete set of ports has been provided, making it future proof. It also includes a standard 2.5mm headphone out as well as a composite coaxial/ line out port, while a micro USB 2.0 makes charging, data transfer and docking to future FiiO equipment and accessories possible.

It has a 2600 mAh battery and 'hibernation mode' which further extends battery life. The player also supports up to 128GB of storage via a micro SD card slot. With an all new UI with different themes to use from, it is the whole package.

The X3 is priced at Rs 14,599 and will be available for purchase at leading retail and e-tail stores.
