Fitness is indeed one criterion that tops ever showbiz personalities mind. So, if you plan to walk the fame way, you better get fit. Radioanadmusic.com caught up with one of the Hindi music industry’s most drool-worthy singers- Meiyang Chang, who offered advice on his fitness regime.

Self Motivation: Motivate yourself to get a fit body, but stay away from superficial motivation as it never works. Personally I was not into fitness until ‘Badmaash Company’ happened to me. I looked really fat on-screen and I did not like it. That was when I started working out. In fact, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ happened next and that motivated me to work on my body.

Stretch before exercising: One must stretch before exercising or doing any kind of weight training.

Get a trainer: Getting a trainer saves injuries. So, if you can afford one, get a trainer. For while you exercise, the techniques have to be right to get the results.

Take care of your diet: Taking care of the diet is extremely important. You do not have to avoid everything. But fast food has to be replaced with healthy food. Avoiding canned food is also a good idea.

Workout daily: Working out daily is extremely important not just to get your body in shape, but to keep it that way.

Try Yoga: Yoga helps you stay fit and gives you better posture. It is a good way of exercising for those who do not like hitting the gym.

Drink lots of water: Drinking lots and lots of water really helps the body function well
