Soundtrack… the movie which is a biopic on musician has stayed true to its concept providing some fresh and understandably eclectic musical pieces. The album is a musical treat for all the music lovers as it is comprised of different artistes offering 12 melodiously best tracks.

Soundtrack composed by a collaboration of internationally acclaimed composers, Midival Punditz and Karsh Kale offers different breed of music, their electronica based fusion music with blend of rock, trance, jazz and pop has acted as ammunition for the album to strike big in Bollywood music industry.

The album flags off with elite instrumental composition Symphony of Streets,' which is a montage of different sound played at varied pitches. A perfect electronically tuned sound with the myriad of regular heard noises emphasizes the finest experimental electronic skills of the two composers.

Following the instrumental composition is could be controversial song owing to its title What the F' rendered by Anushka Manchanda. It's an average track loaded with quirky lyrics, experimental singing and composing, the song impresses with glitzy vocals of Manchanda but fails in terms of music.

Kailash Kher's Mein Chala' blends well with strong electronic musical punch delivered by MPKK. The edgy and intense vocals of Kailash' reside successfully with the fast-spaced songs. The dramatic sequence of the song may take time to grow on listeners but will instantly pertain to the Indi-pop fanatics.

The next song Ek Manzil' rendered by Vishal Vaid' is a Sufi-rock composition depicting East meets West concept with diverse mix and match of electronic, rock and jazz in vigorous composition by Vishal Vaid' and Karsh Kale'. The experimental Sufi-rock switches with varying pitches that embarks Indian classical singing and catches the feel of fusion music.

The East meets West fusion is instantly followed with Papon's composed soft rock track Banao.' The ballad based on electronic fusion music compliments the singer's hip presence in upbeat style of singing matching the tempo of the song.

'Naina Lagey' again highlights the thrilling empathy of Papon's dazzling voice and composer's stylized presentation. The composition features a melodious tune that attributes the refined Indian classical instrumentals which flows with the electronically harmonized rhythms and sounds. This slow-paced harmoniously delightful track is appealing and soothing to the ears and undoubtedly marks as one of the best tracks of the album.

Coming up next is another sufi-rock situational ditty crooned by â€?Vishal Vaid'.  Even though the music is impressive which gels well with 'club-remixing' antics, the overall song is mediocre, but it might work well with the visuals due to its narrative factor.

Jannat' the self made track by Ankur Tewari' from his debut album is added in Soundtrack. The song has got some quick and upbeat rock tunes, and is notable largely due to its distinctive music arrangements.

Gearing up the pace of the album, composers has ingeniously introduced their most successful international track, Atomizer'. The ditty builds up unique aura with the fusion of contemporary electronic music and combo of instruments colliding with guitar jamming. The artistically composed songs crooned by Gaurav Raina' and Karsh Kale' delivers discrete pumping beats which will not only connect well with contemporary electronic music lovers but will also be a most demanded song among DJ's and party animals.

Concluding the album is another themed song The Soundtrack' composed by MPKK and Vishal vaid and is firmly rooted on innovative electronica based fusion music. The sound offers a plucky new direction to the customary Bollwood music.

Soundtrack' also includes two retro hits of Laxmikant Pyarelal, Ruk Jaana Nahi' and Yeh Jeevan Hai' that are beautifully transformed club-remixes emphasizing the fine antics of DJ and sound engineering. Due to the rendition of Kishore Kumar songs by Suraj Jagan and Malini Awasthy singing act as a dumper to the musically well-lit numbers.

As a whole the album is an amalgamation of myriad genres offering the finest and innovative music in form of Atomizer, Synphony of streets, Naina Lagey, Jannat. The album caters to all the party people who have a craving for fast paced yet quality music. The induction of independent composer in a film album has definitely succeeded in churning some inimitable music.
