Description:
Launch New Album - Deep End at Blue Frog. The album made waves across the Pacific this August when Aurora Jane headlined festivals on the West Coast rocking audiences with the new fully charged electric show. Fronted by one of the world's most exciting female guitar players, the band's new live sound has been likened to having the fluidity and excitement of a Hendrix Experience, with the deep groove of 'Blood Sugar' era Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the retro-cool of P-Funk.
Australian artist, Aurora Jane has been touring the globe manically since 2004, the same year she first set foot in India to play World Music Festival, Ladakh. More recently in India Aurora Jane has headlined Pubrockfest (2008), and Roots Festival (2006, 2007) sharing the stage with Indian blues phenomenon 'Soulmate'. The upcoming 2011 'Deep End' Album Launch Tour is sponsored by the Australia-India Council.
