Yash Raj`s `Aaja Nachle`, hyped as Madhuri Dixit`s comeback film, is expected to deliver a great deal. The promos that portray the dancing queen spreading the magic of her moves to the title song have left the audience craving for more.

`Aaja Nachle` is Anil Mehta`s` directorial debut , his previous work as a cinematographer include KANK, Veer Zaara, Kal Ho Na Ho, Saathiya, Lagaan, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Khamoshi, etc.

The bro-duo of Salim Sulaiman have composed the music for this flick. Salim and Sulaiman have been composing music for over a decade, having scored for movies like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Bhoot, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Matrubhoomi, Hum Tum and Dhoom, to name a few.

The title track `Aaja Nachle` is sung by the versatile Sunidhi Chauhan. The track has set the nation feet tapping to it. The song is quite true to its lyrics; it actually inspires one to start dancing. It may not be as gripping on the vocals as the singer`s earlier songs, but is quite a catchy number.

The second track in the album is `Ishq hua`, a typical Bollywood romantic number. It is a slow song, but has an upbeat rhythm to it. It is not a very attractive song but would touch a nerve with people with romance in their hearts.

The song is sung by the hit duo Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. The two singers have repeatedly proved their caliber and have done the same yet again.

The film is based on the happenings of a theatre group and the third song in the album gives a feel of this. The song `Show me your Jalwa` is a very folk theatre song. It is conversation put to music. Kailash Kher, Richa Sharma and Salim Merchant have done justice to the song in their own special way. Richa Sharma has done a commendable job, though only audiences who has ever seen a musical would understand the feel of this song.

`Soniye Mil Ja` is similar, with a very theatrical feel to it. The song is sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan and Madhuri Dixit herself. The song is very upbeat, yet mellowed by the importance of the lyrics, which are a little different and obviously come loaded with references that you would understand only if you have watched the film.

`O re piya` sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, is beautifully composed and well sung. This song would make hearts wander just like the singers previous hits `Jiya dhadak dhadak` and `Mann ki lagan` have.

The recent trend followed by Yash Raj is evident in this flick too. The title track of `Lagaa Chunari Mein Daag` was old lyrics fitted with a new tune. The same is done with the song `Koi` in this flick. The song `Koi pathar se na mare mere diwane ko` from an Hindi film is revamped and put on a new tune. The song sounds just about mediocre but the relevance of this song being chosen must be understood once we watch the flick.

A very bad rip off of the 1980`s Madonna track in the album titled `Dance with me`, doesn`t really put you in the groove.

It is a very lame composition. The other two songs are just a part of the deal. `Is Pal` sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya would again tap a nerve with the ones in love. Not really a catchy number.

Overall, the music of `Aaja Nachle` keeps you craving for more. Half of nine songs in the album are about mediocre and you can pick the album at your own risk. People who have had an affair with musical plays and the folk style of music must pick it up for sure. So choose your genre.
