MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi's sweep of the ratings in last week's RAM statistics in all four metros, was stopped in week 24 by Big FM, which has stolen a march over Mirchi in Bangalore. In Delhi and Kolkata, Mirchi retains its lead by a wide margin. In Mumbai however, Red FM continues to snap at Mirchi's heels, threatening to usurp the position it has held for a long time.

Bangalore: Big FM leads the pack in week 24, having gained 0.5 percentage points, and grabbing a market share of 18.5 per cent. Last week's winner Radio Mirchi has slipped 2.5 percentage points, to end with a share of 18.3 per cent, marginally behind the new leader. Fever, which has made strides in the recent past, has gained 0.7 percentage points to end with a share of 13 per cent, a poor third. All India Radio's FM Rainbow is close behind with a share of 12.9 per cent, also having gained 0.7 percentage points.

Delhi: Radio Mirchi has lost 0.9 percentage points in the capital, to end with a share of 23.8 per cent, but still leads the pack. State broadcaster AIR's FM Gold comes a distant second, but still triumphs over other private FM channels, with a share of 17.2 per cent, having gained 2.3 percentage points. Fever has to contend with the third position, with a share of 16.3 per cent, having lost 0.2 percentage points. Red FM in Delhi comes a distant fourth, with a share of 9.2 per cent, having lost 0.5 percentage points. Close behind is Radio City with a share of 8.9 per cent, followed by Radio One with a share of seven per cent and Big FM with a share of 6.2 per cent.

Kolkata: Radio Mirchi has gained 0.6 percentage points in Kolkata, to end with a market share of 19.4 per cent, way above Big FM's share of 15.3 per cent, although Big too gained 0.6 percentage points. Regional player Aamar FM is third with a share of 12.2 per cent, despite having lost 0.5 percentage points. Friends FM is close behind with a share of 12.1 per cent. Red FM, Fever and Radio One follow after a broad gap.

Mumbai: Radio Mirchi has gained 0.1 percentage points in Mumbai, and managed to keep itself marginally ahead of Red FM, with a share of 17.3 per cent. Red FM,
