MUMBAI: Musician Raghav Sachar has been assigned to compose the channel track of Zee Muzic's brand new avatar, Zing.

Revealing more about the composition, Sachar says, As Zee Muzic is rebranding itself into a youth channel and revamping its programming lineup, Anurag Bedi just showed me the new logo and asked me to compose a track infused with youthful elements....

The 50 second long instrumental track will be the packaging track of the rebranded channel, Zing. Adds Sachar, The composition has elements of world music to it impregnated with electronic sounds  I have included a few instruments that I play in the track and predominantly my trademark Saxophone....

Sachar adds that the music is ready within a short notice and would be on air shortly.

Zee Muzic has been airing teasers with celebrities endorsing the new brand name �Zing' every 20 minutes for the last few weeks. Zee Muzic flagged off the campaign on 1 April and would be undergoing a transition into its new image over a period of three months.

Apart from introducing some more music elements, the channel want to give a taste of lifestyle to its viewers. The programming would be celebrity driven throughout the day chatting about their shopping sprees, gym tips, favorite cuisine, health care, career, upcoming movies etc.
