MUMBAI: Coming October, rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, popular for numbers like 'Blue Eyes' and 'Sunny Sunny', will set out on an eight-city tour in the country, as a part of LIVE Viacom18's new annual property MTV Super Stage.

He will travel to Pune, Jaipur, Indore, Lucknow, Jalandhar, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Guwahati for the concert, the aim of which is to take one sensational or most talked about music artist closer to their fans in smaller cities, a source said.

The performer's latest album 'Desi Kalakaar', the title video of which features actor Sonakshi Sinha, is already creating waves on the music charts. It will be interesting to see if he involves any Bollywood beauty to add the additional entertainment quotient to his live shows. His album was released by T-Series and was available on Hungama exclusively. The video of the track 'Desi Kalakaar' has garnered more than 39 lakh view in a week.

This is not Honey Singh's first collaboration with LIVE Viacom18, which conceptualises music and entertainment related properties. He had also put up a phenomenal performance at its flagship property, MTV Bollyland, a Bollywood and electronic dance music concert, last year.
