Yo Yo Honey Singh croons a number for INLD

MUMBAI: It is election time and very often the contesting parties rope in celebs in a bid to garner votes. The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has brought in rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh in order to woo the youngsters of Haryana.

Making a comeback after a decade in the state of Haryana, the INLD has released a video in which the rapper is seen urging the youngsters to vote for the party. INLD had no plans to rope in the rapper.

Youth party leader and son of Abhay Singh Chautala - Karan Chautala, confirmed the same and said to the reporters that there were no plans of roping in the singer for the party.

"It was not an idea as such, to rope in Honey Singh. He is very connected with Chaudhary Devi Lal ji's ideology. So, he wanted to do something and I welcomed it. He is like an elder brother to me," said Karan.

The song is in Haryanvi language and Honey Singh asks the youngsters to vote for change. The wordings of the song is, 'Yo-Yo gailay nachega, Tau ki maati ka yo gana charon or bajega, Yo Yo gailay tum bhi gao'.

Recently the rapper released the video of the song 'Love Dose' from his album 'Desi Kalakaar'.
