MUMBAI: XM Satellite Radio have resolved a copyright dispute lawsuit brought by EMI Music.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) had received complaints against XM Satellite Radio in May 2006 over the Pioneer Inno- an XM receiver that allows users to record the satellite service directly to MP3 or WMA. Previously XM faced a similar situation with the other three music label biggies, with Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group reaching an agreement last December and Sony BMG settling in February.

XM did not disclose the terms of the settlement.
