Will.i.am delays album launch due to online leak

MUMBAI: Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am has delayed the release of his new album #willpower following leaks of the racks on the internet. Materials of the singer’s new album set for 15 October release were stolen in August along with his car.

Will.i.am’s car was recovered but not his laptop and hard drive, which contained the new songs including his collaborative material with Justin Beiber.

"I'm trying to finish #willpower...& now because of all the leaks I have pushed the album back to make new songs. I will give you updates soon," the 37-year-old artist informed his fans on Twitter.

The album will also feature a list of top artists including Britney Spears, David Guetta and Rihanna.

"Please don't promote the leaks, this song will be taken down. If you know anyone that knows the people responsible #stop them. When songs are incomplete and your valuables were stolen and people leak your unfinished material. (I have a right to vent) #wow," the singer tweeted.
