We are celebrating music in Zila Ghaziabad: Amjad

MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt's upcoming political action thriller 'Zila Ghaziabad' is one of the films, talented music duo Amjad - Nadeem are looking forward to.

The duo has more than five films lined-up this year, but they seem to be very excited for this project.

Speaking with Radioandmusic.com, Amjad said, "The songs are composed keeping the plot of the film in mind. Along with the situations, the style of talking and way of living of characters is also considered. We are celebrating the music in the movie." 

The music album consists of five songs, all penned by Shabbir Ahmed. An item number 'Baap Ka Maal' is rendered by Sukhwinder Singh, Mika Singh and Mamta Sharma, "It is an item number which is based according to the situation in the film, we have not put it for the sake of having an item number," he said.

The movie also has another item number 'Chamiya' sung by Sunidhi Chauhan.

Mohit Chauhan, Tulsi Kumar, Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal have also lend their voices to the film.

Anand Kumar's Zila Ghaziabad featuring Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi,Vivek Oberoi,Minissha Lamba, Ravi Kishan,Paresh Rawal and Sunil Grover, is slated to release on 22 February.

Furthermore, Amjad - Nadeem have also composed three songs for Zindagi 50-50. He added, "The trailor of the film Zindagi 50-50 is not yet out are waiting for the response about the tracks."

'Rabba' and 'Toh se Naina' are the two romantic numbers composed by them along with an item number rendered by Mika Singh. Zindagi 50-50 produced by Ram Gopal Films and directed by Rajiv Ruia,  is slated to release on 22 March.

On asked about his future plans in non-film music if any, he said, "We have plans but not so early, maybe five years down the line, I may plan something with Nadeem."
