Vrajesh Hirjee to quit Big FM

MUMBAI: VJ turned actor turned radio jockey Vrajesh Hirjee is quitting the radio world.

Hirjee has been co hosting Big FM's breakfast show 'Big Chai' with RJ Archana Jani and comedian Raju Shrivastav.

Citing reasons for his quitting, Hirjee says, "I am primarily a Bollywood actor and then a radio jockey and it was difficult for me to manage both lives. Many film roles are coming my way and it is difficult for me to wake up early in the morning and go on air and continue with my acting career alongside." In the past, Hirjee has been seen in movies like Sunday, Superstar, Bhojpuri movie Sab Golmaal Hai. His upcoming feature film projects include One Two Three and Golmaal Returns.

Says Hirjee, "I have been associated with Big FM for more than one and half years since the time the radio channel started. I have seen this radio channel grow and it was a pleasant experience and I would miss every moment spent there. I would miss getting up early in the morning and going on air and saying 'Good Morning' in 10 different ways to 10 million listeners every morning!"
