MUMBAI: Constantly trying to provide innovative music content to its audience, international music channel Vh1 is now launching a documentary series titled ‘Behind the Music’ offering viewers a view into the lives of their favourite music legends.

The show will premiere on 1 June at 9pm and will air every weekend. Vh1 will give its fans a chance to know their favourite music legends with the five-time Emmy award nominated documentary series.

It will showcase popular international icons like Pitbull, Usher, Enrique Iglesias, Akon, Notorious B.I.G and more.

Each episode of ‘Behind the Music’ series will be presented as a discography of music artists’ remarkable performances, moments of pride, joy, heartbreak, and all that went into making them heartthrobs of millions of fans across the world.

Vh1 seems to be focusing a lot in providing a sneak peek into the lives of the music artistes, in a bid to build engagement with the audience. They recently launched a similar show ‘Scandalicious', which highlighted celebs as they put their worst foot forward.
