Vh1 India unveils mobile radio service

MUMBAI: In a bid to offer music 24x7, Vh1 India has entered a whole new diaspora by unveiling mobile radio service �Radio GAGA' for Airtel users.

Vh1 in association with Hungama Mobile will provide international tracks from its four definitive categories - Vh1 Top 10, Hip Hop Hustle, Rock Rules and Classic. The tracks will be handpicked by the channels aficionados.

Speaking on the initiative English Entertainment – Viacom18 Media Senior VP & GM Ferzad Palia said, With Radio Gaga, Vh1 India has come even closer to its fans through the mobile platform. Hungama Mobile COO Albert Almeida said, Historically international music has not been promoted as heavily as other genres of music content. In spite of this consumption of International music on mobile constitutes 5% to 7% of the overall music.
