MUMBAI: Debut singer Apoorv Gupta's album Ek Ladki Shabnmi Jaisi, was launched by Bollywood actor Neha Dhupia and co-star Viveik Oberoi, on Thursday, 21st April, 2011. The album has been produced by Sampoorna Media and distributed by Venus Tapes & Records.

The audio consists of seven renditions, the music videos of two singles Teri Palkein and Ek Ladki have been shot by Prince director Kookie Gulati. The videos features television stars Pulkit and Yami Gautam.

Present at the launch were Dabangg'S music director Wajid, singer Madhushree, Altaf Raja, Roop Kumar Rathod, Videocon's Anirudh Dhoot, actor Sundeep Kishan amongst others.

Speaking about the songs singer Apoorv Gupta said, I am ecstatic knowing that my efforts have paid off so well. Music is my passion and my first love. This album is a compilation of songs that are very close to my heart. I believe that love conquers all and it is the only emotion that has the power to influence people immensely. My music and the lyrics of the songs portray exactly that - an all encompassing emotion that is capable of bringing about immense metamorphosis in whoever opens his or her heart to it....

Bollywood actor Neha Dhupia said, I think Apoorv's music has a very endearing quality to it. Anyone who listens to the songs is sure to be absorbed deep into the lyrics and his soft and melodious voice....
