Universal Music to release JoSH's next album

MUMBAI: MTV India Immies award winner JoSH is back with a new album Beyond Kismat', to be released under the Universal Music label.

Beyond Kismat' features eight tracks; a mix of groovy dance with soft acoustic ballads. The album also consists of a video of the lead track Pyar Ho Gaya and a remake of RD Burman's all time instant-radio hit Yeh Zameen (Gaa Rahi Hai)... as a tribute to the legendary music composer.

The Canadian duo Rup and Q of JoSH define the style and tone of the new album as "a departure from our first three albums" - by keeping the style simple and concentrating more on the lyrics.

JoSH has released Main Hoon Tanha', Kabhi', Mausam' with Universal Music. The band was awarded MTV India's Indian Music Excellence Award (Immie) in the "Best New Non-Film Talent" for 'Kabhi'.

Beyond Kismat' will be available in July across India through Universal Music.
