Universal launches Zubeen Garg`s debut album

MUMBAI: Universal Music has launched Zubeen Garg`s debut pop album titled "Zindagi" on 29 August 2007.

The album is a collection of all new songs from Zubeen that cut across age groups and gender.

Though this is Zubeen`s debut pop album, the versatile singer has already voiced over 7000 songs in various languages and has also bagged two prestigious awards for the `best play back singer` at the Film Fare and Screen Awards!

Speaking to Radioandmusic.com, Zubeen Garg shared, "Zindagi contains harmony and sound that every Indian will relate to and enjoy. We have mixed contemporary music from our country with the energetic tunes of today. Zubeen`s claim to fame began in 2006 with his hit "Ya Ali" from the film Gangster. Since then he has consistently belted out hits including the current chart buster "Ek Din" and the 2007 film "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom". He has also voiced smash hits from the films Fiza, Kaante, Namaste London, Bas Ek Pal and Big Brother.
