UMPG promotes Brian Lambert as EVP - head of film and TV music

MUMBAI: Universal Music Publishing Group has promoted Brian Lambert as the executive VP/head of film and television music.

Lambert will work from the company's headquarter in  California and will report to UMPG North America president Evan Lamberg. Lambert will be responsible for monitoring US film and TV creatives, licensing and clearance teams.

Brian Lambert said, "I'm proud to play such a key role in representing the greatest catalog in the business, and I'm lucky to have the best Film and TV Music department around.  The synchronization business is an increasingly vital part of our revenue and we pride ourselves on bringing these opportunities to our (UMPG's) amazing artists, writers and catalogs. I truly look forward to working closely with Evan Lamberg as we move into the next phase of UMPG."

Lambert has been part of Universal Music Publishing Group for 20 years. He has been synchronizing business and driving through creative placements of UMPG's vast catalog in film, TV and advertising in US. Lambert has signed key film and TV administration deals that the company has completed with Warner Bros. Entertainment, DreamWorks and HBO, and also manages those relationships along with other major film studios.
