MUMBAI: Kashishh, who recently gained popularity in the reality show Sitaron Ko Choona Hain... on Real TV, is set to come up with her first solo album to be launched by Tips.

The album is directed by Sachin Gupta, who has scored the music for Dil Kabbadi as well as Atif Aslam's solo album. Kashishh's album will consist of 12 recorded songs. Kashishh has also scored the music for three tracks in the album, which is titled �Kashishh ki Kashishh'. The album is scheduled for an August release.

Talking about the tracks of her new solo album, Kashishh says, The tracks are a mix of Hindi and English, and have a flavor of hip-hop and R & B music. The numbers will appeal to the youth....

Kashishh reveals that it was the album which brought her to India from the US, and the reality show just happened to her.

Kashishh says that the Michael Bolton show in the US, where artistes like Kailash Kher and Sukhwinder performed, was the stepping stone for her to embark on this album.

Apart from her new solo album Kashishh is also singing ad jingles, and has recently done one for Coca Cola India. She plans to do shows in the USA, as well in various Indian cities to promote the album.
