Times Music unveils spiritual melodies

MUMBAI: Times Music has unveiled two spiritual albums Rudraksha and Divine Chants of Shiva.

Rudraksha is a compilation of different types of Rudrakshas and their respective Dhyana & Beej mantras, sung by legendary singer Anuradha Paudwal and Hindustani classical vocalist of international acclaim Sanjeev Abhyankar.

The second album, Divine Chants of Shiva is sung by Uma Mohan and contains potent mantras like the Namaskarartha Mantra, Chandrashekhara Ashtakam , Shiv Naamawaii Ashtakam which is written by Adi Shankara , The album also contains the Nirvana Shatkam by Sri Shankaracharya , the Shiv Tandava Stotra a powerful and vibrant poem composed by Ravana and Shiva Mantra Ghanapaath from Shri Rudram a Vedic stotra dedicated to Rudra, an aspect of Shiva, states an official release.

Both the albums have a spiritual meaning to it, Rudraksha which is derived from the Sanskrit words, Rudra which is another name for Lord Shiva and Aksha which means teardrop. Along the same lines, the Divine Chants of Shiva also reveres all the glorious aspects of the Deity.
