Times Music releases music of Bharadwaj`s Blue Umbrella

MUMBAI:Times Music has released the music of director Vishal Bhardwaj`s forthcoming film `The Blue Umbrella`, which is an adaptation of the novella of the same name by Ruskin Bond. Music for the film has been composed by Vishal Bhardwaj and the lyrics have been written by Gulzar. Aasmani Chhatri is the theme track , sung by Upagna Pandya who was heard in Bharadwaj`s earlier film Makdee too. Tesoo is yet another kid song ( Upagna, Aparna, Sahiti and Sneha) reflecting the warm culture kids grow with in smaller hill towns of India. Barfaan, sung by Sukhwinder Singh, gives a complete spin to the album making it worthwhile to appeal to the older generations.

The film will release on 10 August 2007. The film is about desire, about the zealous attempt to fulfill it and finally its conquest. The story unfurls with the discovery of a vibrant blue umbrella by Biniya, an eleven-year-old girl from an idyllic mountain village in north India.
