Think Music acquires Rahman's Endhiran

MUMBAI: South music label Think Music has snapped the audio rights of S Shankar's Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai starer Endhiran, the music of which is scored by Oscar winner A R Rahman.

The audio of the film is expected to release on 31 July at a grand launch in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia

Industry is ripe with rumorus that the label has paid a whopping 70 million to snatch away the audio rights from the closest bidder, Sony Music.

Director Shankar recently revealed in his blog that the film will have six songs and one has been sung by Rahman himself; Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty is the sound designer.

Rajinikanth and Shankar's Sivaji's music had topped the chartbuster in 2007, hence the expectation from the film is huge.
