The vinyl returns with LP of Jhootha Hi Sahi

MUMBAI: After 13 long years, music and film studio Saregama brings back the era of black vinyl with the launch of soundtrack of Jhootha Hi Sahi on LP.

Saregama India Ltd MD Apurv Nagpal said, We have some of the oldest and best songs that catalogue the history of Bollywood. The last LP which was sold 13 years back by Saregama was Dil To Pagal Hai,  in 1997. Jhootha Hi Sahi music has this timeless classic feel to it, so we got this innovative idea of bringing back the era of the LP....

The company plans to cut its other albums too in the LP format.

The music Jhootha Hi Sahi is composed by AR Rahman, and film director Abbas Tyrewala has written the lyrics.

The LP of Jhootha Hi Sahi is priced at Rs 599 and can be procured from www.saregama.com. The company is also retailing record players from the website, in partnership with an international manufacturer.

The company claims the LP is receiving a good response. John Abraham has been the first to book a Jhootha Hi Sahi LP and a player.
