Techzone acquires exclusive rights of Yo Yo Honey Singh's track

MUMBAI: Leading content aggregator and provider Techzone has acquired the exclusive song rights of rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh’s latest single ‘Bring Me Back’ from the music channel MTV.

The single is being promoted digitally and on mobile by Techzone, which will provide the song content on platforms including mobile and desktop internet. It will also enable track downloads, videos, ringtones, caller ring back tones and other digital entertainment formats for the song.

Techzone MD Naveen Bhandari said, “Yo Yo Honey Singh is an extremely famous Indian artist and his songs have a mass appeal. Acquiring the exclusive songs for Honey Singh’s ‘Bring Me Back’ is a very exciting moment for Techzone. The song has already gauged a record of mobile downloads on the first day of the availability which is phenomenal.”

The single was launched by Yo Yo Honey Singh at music channel MTV’s new music show, MTV Spoken Word.

‘Bring Me Back’ is Honey Singh’s latest single rap hit and his first song for the year 2013. Unlike his other famous party tracks which have a fun theme to their lyrics, ‘Bring Me Back’ touches the soul with a hard hitting message, the premise of MTV Spoken Word. The song is being considered as the Indian rap superstar’s comeback after a month of bad patches and negative news.

MTV EVP and business head Aditya Swamy said, “Bring Me Back is a very special collaboration between Honey Singh and MTV, and is the opening track on our latest music project MTV Spoken Word. We have always been successful at leveraging platforms beyond television and this partnership with Techzone will ensure the track is available across every single mobile VAS vertical.”
