MUMBAI: Country pop singer Taylor Swift has topped Forbes Magazine’s list of highest paid celebrities under the age of 30, earning an estimated 57 million dollars for the year ending in May. According to Forbes, each of the Grammy-winning singer’s three albums has achieved platinum status atleast four times, and she currently earns around one million dollars per concert along with her CoverGirl cosmetics contract. Following up on the second position is teen-pop sensation Justin Bieber with total earning of 55 million dollars. The singer’s fame was boosted by earning from music sales, sold-out concerts and endorsements for products like the skincare line Proactiv. He also boasts of an investment portfolio with stakes in the popular start-up companies Tinychat and Spotify. Increasing their endorsements and earnings further, Swift and Bieber are said to be collaborating for a new record. R&B singer Rihanna grabbed the third slot with total earning of 53 million dollars while last year’s topper Lady Gaga dropped down to the fourth spot with an estimated 52 million dollars, down from 90 million dollars last year. Katy Perry and Adele came in fifth and sixth with a total of 45 million dollars and 35 million dollars respectively. Actors Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and rapper Lil Wayne rounded off the list with earnings between 26.5 million dollars and 34.5 million dollars.
