MUMBAI: Music major T-Series, in its continuing campaign against unlicensed users of its content, has secured a Delhi High Court injunction against news channel India News.

According to Super Cassettes (T-Series), a notice was sent to India News to stop using T-Series songs and copyright works for its programming. The channel however continued to use T-Series copyright works without  the proper license, following which T-Series moved the court.

On 17 March, the Delhi High Court issued an interim injunction, restraining India News from broadcasting and telecasting T Series content in any manner till the next date of hearing, 21 July.

Thus far this year, the company has managed to secure court stays on television channel Lehrein and its subsidiaries, news channel Voice of India and Asianet.
