MUMBAI: Fans, who may not have been able to attend Asia’s biggest electronic dance music fest Sunburn 2011, will now have an opportunity to witness the ‘Sunburn Summerfest 2012 festival’ in Mumbai.The star-studded three-day event will commence from 6 April at Hotel Tulip Star in Juhu.

The three days of mayhem will be categorized in two stages with a lineup of about 30-40 artistes. The performance will be broadcasted live on YouTube in 120 countries across the world.

The alternative festival format replicating Goa fest will have a special focus on technology, gizmos and production. For the first time, the event will feature tech-gizmos like LED mesh, spray guns, 3D projection mapping and more.

Speaking about the fest with Radioandmusic.com, Sunburn Inceptor and Percept Limited Jt. MD Shailendra Singh said, “After banging it in big time for our fifth year anniversary of Sunburn Goa, we wanted to bring the experience to the entertainment capital of India. We're taking the experience to the next level. We're going to create some magic with technology, Ground breaking stuff. India is proud of the brand, and now the world is watching Sunburn, and we think Mumbai is ready to show them how we celebrate."
