Sunburn partners Techzone for international music

MUMBAI: Asia’s premier dance music festival Sunburn has partnered with content aggregator Techzone to create a WAP page offering users access to international music and informative content on the fest.

The fest will offer a single platform titled ‘Playground’ store, through which music aficionados can browse and download tracks from a library of over 2,00,000 songs from major labels like Universal Music Group and Sony Music International. As part of the association, the WAP page allows fans unlimited free access for three days.

TechZone director Naveen Bhandari said, “We are glad to be associated with Sunburn and offer Playground as their official technology partner. Our WAP, CRBT and SMS services will make sure that all the users have an increased access to all the important information about the festival and Playground will ensure that they have enough music to lose themselves into the Sunburn aura. There is a great demand for international music in India, and with the biggest of audio labels on board, we want to make the entire library of international content more accessible to a larger base of users by offering it on mobile platform.”

Apart from that, it will also offer informative content like videos, artist trivia, gossips, program schedule, festival guide, exclusive photo gallery, voting options and more through CRBT and SMS services on mobile handsets through the short code 56060.

Sunburn CEO Karan Singh said, “During every sunburn festival we have been witnessing huge demand for content on Sunburn and on international music. Thus, we decided to partner with Techzone to provide the music and sunburn enthusiasts what they want. Techzone's technological expertise and its Playground store with its cast library of music is a great addition to the event.”
