Sunburn 2007 to scorch Goa on 28, 29 Dec

MUMBAI: PDM Entertainment has announced that India`s first International Electronic Music Festival - Sunburn will be held in Goa on 28 and 29 December 2007.To be held in alliance with Smirnoff and the Ministry of Tourism, Goa, the two-day synergy of global music, dance and entertainment is slated to happen off Candolin Beach, Goa and will be hosted by well known VJ Nikhil Chinappa.

Announcing the event on Saturday, Percept Holdings` joint managing director Shailendra Singh commented, "This festival aims to bring together some of the best DJs worldwide and is in line with some of the largest international music festivals. This genre of music (electronic) is catching on in India and Sunburn will provide a grand platform for the DJs to showcase their talent and promises to be truly electrifying."

Nikhil Chinappa, Partner and Creative Consultant - Content, Sunburn, added, "We are trying to create the Global-Indian experience using the top of the line audio (music) and visuals (projectors with graphics and imaging) on par with established international Music festivals. The end objective is to create a festival which we can call our own." Sunburn 2007 will begin at noon and will continue till 10.30 in the night. This festival will annually consolidate the best global talent from India, Holland, Ibiza, UK, Austria, France, Australia, Sweden and Singapore in India to celebrate music and foster a sense of community and harmony. With John 00 Fleming (UK), Midieval Punditz (USA), Sergio Flores (Austria), Tuhin Mehta and Sanjay Dutta (India), Stephen Kroos (Holland), Aldrin (Singapore) and many more; this festival promises to be a true rocker event.
