Sony Music to release Springsteen's 17th studio album

MUMBAI: Legendary singer/songwriter Bruce Springsteen is all set to release his 17th studio album called 'Wrecking Ball' on 6 March 2012.

Tha album will be released on Sony Music featuring 11 Springsteen recordings. The retro rock artiste has produced the album with Ron Aniello, while Jon Landau is the executive producer. A special edition of 'Wrecking Ball' will include two bonus tracks with artwork and photography.

Springsteen's manager & executive producer of the album Jon Landau said, Bruce has dug down as deep as he can to come up with this vision of modern life. The lyrics tell a story you can't hear anywhere else and the music is his most innovative of recent years. The writing is some of the best of his career and both veteran fans and those who are new to Bruce will find much to love on 'Wrecking Ball....

The album comprises of songs including - We Take Care of Our Own, Easy Money, Shackled and Drawn, Jack of All Trades and Death to My Hometown.
