Sony Music to release MTV Coke Studio songs

MUMBAI: Sony Music India has acquired the rights of MTV Coke Studio songs, and will release it all over the world.

Coke Studio songs will be available on CDs, digital downloads and as caller tunes on mobile phones. The show Coke Studios@MTV will also be available on DVD.

Commenting on the association with MTV Coke Studio, Sony India & Middle East president- Shridhar Subramaniam said, Music has the power to transcend barriers and bind people together. This extraordinary collaboration amongst some of the greatest musicians of our times is truly unique and we at Sony Music India are very proud to be able to bring this music to all the fans....

Coke Studios@MTV is a global platform for artistes to collaborate with musicians of different background like Shafqat Amanat Ali and Shruti Pathak, Sunidhi Chauhan and Wadali Brothers, Kailash Kher and Papon, Shankar Mahadevan and Khogen Da, and Bombay Jayshree, Richa Sharma and Rashid Khan amongst others.
