MUMBAI: Recognizing an outstanding talent in the show-biz world, 18th Lions Gold Awards has honoured Singer Sonu Nigam and his four-year-old son Neevan for their contribution in the music industry.

Sonu Nigam won the favourite evergreen singer award while his son was declared as the favourite child singer for his version of �Kolaveri Di'. Elated Sonu Nigam said, It's a great feeling. It's Nevaan's first award."

Other awardees honoured were Shabbir Ahmed (Bodyguard) - Favorite lyricists, Himesh Reshammiya (Bodyguard) – Favorite music director and Bappi Lahiri (Oo La La) – Favorite playback singer.
