Sirius to broadcast Dave Matthews Band Radio on 3 channels

MUMBAI: Starting 1 June, Dave Matthews Band Radio will broadcast week-long on Sirius XM's Jam_On channel, Sirius channel 17 and XM channel 56.

This coincides with the release of the band's latest studio album Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King that will be released worldwide on 2 June.

Sirius XM Radio president and chief content officer Scott Greenstein says, "Dave Matthews Band has both a fervent fanbase and one of the most original sounds in rock music. We are happy to dedicate a week of Jam_On's programming to this band."

Dave Matthews Band Radio will showcase the band's entire catalogue by playing music spanning its career. Listeners will hear Dave Matthews Band music 24/7 including everything from the band's early days to live recordings.

The exclusive channel will feature Dave Matthews, Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard and Boyd Tinsley who will personally introduce each song on the new album and share behind-the-scenes stories about the making of the album.

Additionally, Dave Matthews Band Radio will broadcast a different live concert recording at 9 pm starting 1 June through 7 June.
