MUMBAI: After receiving accolades from music maestro AR Rahman for his track ‘Dost hai (Girl I Loved You),’ rapper and singer Arya Acharya has crooned for upcoming movies ‘Agent Vinod’ and ‘Khiladi 786.’

In Agent Vinod, Arya has rendered a track composed by Pritam. The soundtrack also includes an official remake ‘of the song I'll Do the Talking’ of the 1978 chartbuster ‘Rasputin’, composed by German disco group Boney M. The audio under T-Series is set to release by the first week of March 2012.

The rapper and singer, who had signed 22 songs deal with Himesh Reshamiya’s music publishing company HR Musik Limited, will also render a track for ‘Khiladi 786.’ The film starring actor Akshay Kumar will be produced by the actor himself in collaboration with Reshamiya. Directed by Ashish R Mohan, the movie will be released under HR Musik.

Arya said, “It was great working with Pritam once again for Agent Vinod. I had earlier collaborated with the composer for Players and it was exciting to work once again and experiment with some new sounds and music. As Khiladi 786 is still in pre-production and I have just recorded a track, so it’s too early to say anything about the music. We have to look forward to it.”

Recently his hip-hop track ‘Dost hai (Girl I Loved You)’ from the movie ‘EKK Deewan tha’ composed by Rahman and penned by Javed Akhtar, has earned the rapper lot of accolades from the industry. Speaking about his first time collaboration with Rahman, Arya said, “It was absolutely fabulous to work with the maestro. It was my dream come true and I always wanted to work with him. His acclamation for my work means a lot to me. I’m looking forward to keep-up the good work through my next two movies and fulfill the expectation.”
