MUMBAI: Music composer duo Siddharth-Sangeet Haldipur is making a Bollywood debut in Bollywood as composers with two films.

The brothers, (Siddharth is part of A Band of Boys and Sangeet belongs to Aasma) have composed for director Kunal Vijaykar's next, 'Fruit and Nut' starring Cyrus Broacha. The film is likely to release by this year end. The other film in Siddarth-Sangeet's kitty is choreographer Tarun Kumar's 'Aye phasaa'.

Talking about Fruit and Nut, Sangeet says, "The film has six tracks which are situational and flow with the theme of the movie. The songs are very commercial and contemporary targeting the masses."

"This would be the first time that actor and comedian Boman Irani would be rendering a song. The other singers lending their voices for the album are Niti Mohan (an Aasma band member), new find Kalpana from television reality show Junoon and Kailash Kher."

The other film in their kitty, 'Aye phasaa' is a comedy flick starring Anoop Soni, Tara Sharma and Aryaman.

The music composers have roped in rapper Baba Seh, ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Hans Raj Hans, Alka Yagnik and Sonu Kakkar. "We have composed a ghazal with Jagjit Singh involving westernized beats. The title song has been sung by singer Sonu Kakkar".

Sangeet had recently sung for Bollywood tracks for movies like Corporate and Mere Baap Pehle Aap. He is also singing for couple of movies, a track for Satish Kaushik's next to be composed by Anu Malek. Next is 'Idiot Box' to be composed by composers Anand and Milind.

Sangeet had also recently rendered his vocals for a Tamil movie titled 'Kuruvi' composed by Vidyasagar.

The duo has been composing jingles for Radio Mirchi. Sangeet says he has also joined 'Xenabob', the group formed by A Band of Boys and rock group Nexus to launch an album that has an amalgamation of digital and acoustic club music better known as Intelligent Dance Music (IDM) to India for the first time. The album will be launched within three months.
