MUMBAI: Greeting the magic of monsoon, Indian classical maestros Shiv Kumar Sharma and Pandit Ajay Pohankar will perform at the 11th edition of monsoon music festival ‘Barkha Ritu’ on 30 June in Mumbai.

Abhijit will also perform a jamming session along with his father Pt Ajay Pohankar at the concert.  The national thematic music fest will feature ragas which are specifically based on monsoon. The fest is organized in six major cities of India — Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad.

Speaking about the concert with Radioandmusic.com, Pt Pohankar said, “The concert organized by Banyan Tree MD Mahesh Babu and Nandini will feature seasonal ragas depicting the romantic and pleasant flavor of monsoon.  The concert will lend music connoisseurs of Mumbai a chance to embrace the essence of Barkha Ritu.”
