MUMBAI: On the occasion of his 74th birthday, Shemaroo released a two DVD pack of 50 original songs by Mahendra Kapoor, featuring 25 solo songs in volume one and 25 duets in volume two sung by the legendary singer.

The first copy of this DVD pack titled 'Ultimate Unremix - Mahendra Kapoor' was presented to Mahendra Kapoor on his birthday at his Mumbai residence on Wednesday. The singer officially released it by unveiling the pack, who was visibly moved as he launched the set. The DVD was then played on his home theatre system for guests to have a look at the compilation.
Mahendra Kapoor has sung mostly for B R Chopra films and actor-producer Manoj Kumar. All his best songs for the BR Banner, namely from the films Gumrah, Waqt and Pati Patni Aur Who have been featured in the pack. This DVD pack is priced at Rs 199.
