MUMBAI: Music composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have bagged a two film deal with Walt Disney Pictures India. Confirms Shankar Mahadevan, We have been approached by Walt Disney to compose for their forthcoming projects, the first being �Zokkomon' directed by Satyajit Bhatkal, (who was involved in the making of Lagaan) and another untitled project....

Talking about the compositions, Ehsaan Noorani says, Our music differs from film to film and depends on the theme of the film. �Zokkomon' is an adventurous movie and so we would be composing differently and will have all Hindi tracks.... Zokkomon is supposedly a children's tale starring child actor Darsheel Safari, who won acclaim in 2007 for the film "Taare Zameen Par".

According to a film trade publication, the SEL trio has been signed for a deal worth Rs 35 million, but Shankar rubbishes it saying, We are still in talks with Walt Disney and the deal amount hasn't been fixed yet....

Walt Diney Pictures forayed into India movie production last year with Yash Raj Films' animated movie, �Roadside Romeo' and have four projects lined up including �19 Sep' starring Kamal Hassan.

The music trio had initially stated to Radioandmusic.com that they would not take up Bollywood projects on an assortment basis but had eventually composed for Nikhil Advani's Chandni Chowk to China. When there are too many composers working on an album, there is a clutter of ideas and the quality of album goes down. However, our music in Chandni Chowk to China was appreciated inspite of the fact that the movie didn't leave an exceptional mark,... says Ehsaan.

Carving a niche in Bollywood, the trio has already released their telugu debut composition this year with Nallamalupu Bujji's Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam starring Siddardh and Tamanna. Shankar Mahadevan had composed for tamil film, Aalavandhan in 2001 and they would be composing for another, �Yaavarum Nalam' starring Madhavan after a long hiatus of eight years.

2008 was a phenomenal year for SEL as they have been instrumental in bringing rock genre into mainstream Bollywood. Among the projects lined up for the coming year include, Zoya Akhtar's Luck by chance, Karan Johar's My name is Khan starring Shahrukh Khan, Ravi Chopra's �Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai', Anees Bazmee's �Its my life', Wakeup sid and Short-Kut produced by Anil Kapoor among others.
