Saregama launches the music of the film `Hattrick`

MUMBAI: Saregama has released the music of UTV Motion Pictures` next venture `Hattrick` in Mumbai. On the occasion, UTV CEO Ronnie Screwwala also unveiled the video of the promotional song from the movie Wicket Bacha, sung by Usha Uthup.

The event had Usha Uthap belting her number, leaving everyone wanting for more. The music has been compsed by Pritam, who recently had hits like Dhoom 2, Gangster, Woh Lamhe, Pyaar ke side effects.

"Thanks to Pritam, it`s a great opportunity that after 37 years I could do a Calypso in films. Cherry on the icing is having people like Nana Patekar dancing in the video," says Usha Uthup.

Saregama`s Music Chief executive Kulmeet Makkar said, "We have always enjoyed a great rapport with the music composer Pritam, and now with the release of Hattrick music, we look forward to create a "Hat-trick" of Mega Hits after Dhoom & Gangster". ,"He further adds that with this film, we begin a fruitful & long term association with UTV".

The album comprises of eleven tracks including `Ek Pal Mein` sung by KK. `Rabba khair kare,` `Wicket Bacha` `Kahan Kho Gaya` and `I`m coming home` each having two versions each. This album also includes the remix version of the popular disco number of the 80s `Jab Chaye Tera Jadu.`

The video Wicket Bachao features all the principal characters from the movie including Kunal Kapoor, Rimi Sen, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Danny Denzongpa. Singer Usha Utthup makes her presence felt in the video too in an unusual hair-do.

Hattrick has been directed by Milan Luthria and is slated to premiere on 16 March.
