MUMBAI: Music major Saregama has made two new appointments to further expand its verticals across the entertainment sector. It has appointed Aditya Shastri as business head–films along with Manish Popat hired as business head–TV (National) 

Aditya Shastri will be looking after Saregama's films business. Prior to joining Saregama India Ltd, Shastri was with Gitanjali as CEO, entertainment, Gitanjali Gems. He has also worked as CEO of People Pictures and was handling the CEO's profile for the Corporate Division of UFO Moviez in India. He has also held the Chief Operating Officer position for UTV Motion Pictures previously and brings with him over a decade's rich experience in films marketing & production.
 
After venturing into the regional TV space, Saregama has announces its foray in the GEC space for which Manish Popat has been roped in as head for GEC /National channels.

Saregama has acquired rights to an international format and will begin pitching to channels shortly.

Popat comes with over 20 years of experience in media and entertainment, having worked with organizations like Lintas India, Trikaya Grey Advertising, UTV Software Communications & Miditech.

Saregama has also appointed Sachin Mohite as creative head for the national TV division.
