MUMBAI: Pioneer Channel Factory Ltd. has appointed Saravanan P as chief executing officer for the network, with effect from 1 March 2012. The network currently has in its portfolio two music channels, MTunes HD and Music Xpress.

In his new role, Saravanan will be responsible for spearheading the network’s existing offerings and plan the future vision. Going forward, the network plans to launch channels in both national and regional languages.

The role at PCFL is another challenging opportunity and we are committed towards establishing ourselves as a formidable player in the entertainment industry in times to come. I am really pleased that within a short span of time, M Tunes HD, India’s 1st Bollywood music channel in HD has emerged among the top three channels in the pure music genre having displaced Sony Mix in the latest TAM Ratings at HSM markets.
