Sagarika releases Avadhoot Gupte`s ghazal album

MUMBAI: Sagarika Music has released "Tujhi Aathvan", a collection of Marathi ghazals, in association with Avadhoot Gupte.

Gupte, known for his compositions including "Meri Madhubala", "Halu Halu Chaal", "Jai Jai Maharashtra" and "Aana Dobara", has explored his ghazal singing skills in the new album.

The ghazals, written by Chandrashekhar Sanekar and composed by Mayuresh Pai, have been sung by Avadhoot. The album includes tracks like "Karuna Ratra Nasheeli", "Gaayeli Gaani Tujhi", "Tujhi Athavan", "Tujhyach Sathi", "Asaa Darvale Mi", "Tujhya Sugandhahun Nilali" and "Tujala Valoon Mi Pahile" is a melodious duet in which Avadhoot is accompanied by Vaishali Samant. There are three bonus tracks in the album, "Unad Paus", "Mi Lagalo Bolayala" and "Tu Hasates Ashi Ki". The Bonus tracks are composed and sung by Gupte.

The Video of the Song "Asaa Darvale Mi" is directed by Sagarika Bam and features Avadhoot Gupte. The video is shot in a contemporary style and complements the mood of the song, says a release.
