MUMBAI: Joint Secretary of South Indian Music Companies' Association (SIMCA) S L Saha resigned from his post a few days ago.
Though Saha will no longer be the Joint Secretary of the association, he adds, "I will continue to be the member of the association."
Talking about the association's structure, SIMCA Ex-treasurer and member J Sridhar states, "Saha's resignation is a part of our regular procedure where people holding the positions vacant to allow new people from the industry to take over. The new appointment will be made after general board meeting to be held early next month."During his tenure, Saha had conceived certain good initiatives for the Tamil music industry. He has also been a key person in the fight against music piracy.
In the mean time, the affairs of SIMCA are carried out by the treasurer and the secretary of SIMCA.
