Rock band Indus Creed to launch album after 15 years

MUMBAI: As the Mumbai-based rock band Indus Creed reformed last year, it was obvious that the band was all set to surprise its fans. The band has announced a comeback album ‘Evolve' after a hiatus of 15 years.

Comprising of eight tracks the album has been engineered by Grammy-nominated mixing engineer ‘Tim Palmer,’ who has worked with the likes of Pearl Jam, Robert Plant, Ozzy Osbourne, U2, Tears for Fears and Porcupine Tree. The album withholds bands’ trademark music blending high energy rock with melodic contemporary sounds.

Speaking about the album, Indus Creed’s front man Uday Benegal said, “It was a great experience to comeback with a self produced album and we are expecting to break some new found boundaries with our high energy rock. The highpoint of the album is the sound treatment given by Tim Palmer. Recording experience with him was enthralling as we played live instrument in studio.”

Scheduled to release in the first week of April, the album will be promoted with concerts across the country. Known to break new frontiers, the band recently played a riveting gig at the seventh edition of Jack Daniel Rock Awards. The reformed band consists of Uday Benegal (Vocals / Guitars/ Programming), Mahesh Tinaikar (Guitars/Vocals), Zubin Balaporia (Keyboards / Vocalist), Rushad Mistry (Bass / Vocals) and Jai Row Kavi (Drums / Vocals).
