MUMBAI: After enthralling her aficionados last year through 'Loud' world tour that grossed whopping $90 million, R&B superstar Rihanna is all set to take-off again with her ‘Diamonds World Tour’.

The tour is schedule to commence on 8 March 2013 in Buffalo, New York and will span across 27 North American cities. Supporting Rihanna’s latest album ‘Talk that Talk’, the North American leg of Diamond tour will include performances at arenas in Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, and more.

Promoted by Live Nation, the ticket sales of RiRi’s concert will begin from 14 September on Live Nation's official website. The R&B star's previous tour ‘Loud’ has solidified her status as one of the top female solo artists of this century. The tour has become the 7th highest grossing tour of 2011 and is also named amongst the historic 10 sold out concerts at London’s O2 Arena – a first by a female solo artist.

Currently holding the record for top-selling digital artist of all time, Rihanna has sold over 37 million albums and 146 million digital tracks worldwide. The singer has registered 11 number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100, 22 top 10 singles and 18 number one singles on Billboard Dance Club Song Charts. In 2012, Forbes crowned the singer as the number one social networking singer with more than 60 million fans on facebook and 25 million followers on Twitter.
