MUMBAI: R&B star Rihanna who has maintained her repute of delivering an album every year since November 2009, is all set to release her new album for 2012. The popstar will launch the lead single ‘Diamonds’ tomorrow.

As announced at Elvis Duran and The Morning Show, Riri will unveil the single at this weekend’s iHeartRadio music festival.  The R&B star describes her latest offering as a happy and hippie record with a laid-back and hopeful vibe.

"It gives me such a great feeling when I listen to it. The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it's about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I'm excited to surprise them sonically," she said.

The new single is produced by Benny Blanco and Stargate. Rihanna will hit the road with the ‘Diamonds world tour’ which will kick off its North American leg on 8 March 2013 in Buffalo, New York.
