Red FM`s unlimited `Festive Madness`

Mumbai`s musical radio station Red FM rocked the city with special programming around Rakshabandhan, Independence Day and then Janmashtami. And the fun-filled musical journey doesn`t end there; the Madness at Red gets a method with yet another Ganesh Chaturti offering where the next big thing is the `Ganpati Express` - a journey to the Ashtavinayaks (eight momentous Ganesh idols) Visarjan Dhamaal - Live coverage of the Ganesh Visarjan and Midnight pandal picnics.

Commenting on the special programming on festivals, Abraham Thomas, COO, Red FM said in an official statement, "Festivals are great opportunities to reach masses and bring them together for a common purpose. Festivals act as strong binding forces and Red FM aims at making every occasion a universal celebration, providing viewers with programming that makes their special moments even more special with lots of fun and excitement."

The radio station with a `Bajate Raho` attitude ran `101 Rakhi Ki Khoj` a special programme on the occasion of Rakshabandha. It was truly an eyebrow raiser with an innovative show format. Red FM ran a day long search contest for females named `Rakhi.` The activity received tremendous response with the SMS and phone call count surpassing the figure 101 by late afternoon itself.

Freedom is equal to `Free ka Dum` was Red FM`s offering this Independence Day. It was an all new celebration of freedom diwas where Red FM empowered their listeners with a spirit to win free gifts with Red Tuition being the qualifier. Starting this Independence, Red FM gives an all new meaning to Tuition, as it checks citizens IQ of how well they know their city.

`Matka party @ Red` was a complete entertainer where listeners taste authentic Marathi mock session. It was a party by Bhalerao and Baburao who take over to do some Janmashtami sheron shayari.
