Red FM initiates two Ganesh Chaturthi campaigns

MUMBAI: Celebrating the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi in full fanfare, Red FM has lined up two campaigns ‘Magic Modak' and ‘Visarjan mandal' for a span of two weeks.

In its Magic Modak campaign, the station will distribute the deity's favourite sweet, Modak, amongst its listeners; the sweet will be based on the concept of Fortune cookie. The station will send Modak to listeners, selected on the basis of requests taken on-air and SMSes. Few lucky listeners' will receive Fortune Modak with unlimited social media plan MTS M-Blaze Dongle.

The second activity ‘Visarjan mandal' will feature a team of Red FM jocks, band, dancers and security who will join the Visarjan (immersion) procession. The station will host a contest ‘Visarjan Squad ko Ghar Bulao' on its morning show wherein listeners can register to invite the team or they can enroll at the Dominos outlet. The Visarjan Squad will visit home of few lucky winners and join them in the procession. One winner will be picked for each immersion day namely the 1 ?, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 10th. Red FM jock will also go live from the venue during the evening show after which the winning families will be invited for a post immersion pizza party by the station.

Commenting on the campaigns, Red FM SVP – programming and projects Nisha Narayanan said, "Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival of significant importance for our listeners in Mumbai and we wanted to make it really memorable for them. With these innovative campaigns, we aim to take brand Red FM to the every nook and corner of the city and create interesting on-air content."
